West Coast Cruisers Classic / Calgary -  01/29/05
Waiparous is an OHV area outside of Calgary Canada, and is the site for the 1st Annual Rocky Mountain River Shiver.  I was in Calgary and the awesome folks at RMLCA put on a run in my honor - West Coast Cruisers Classic, which was also the pre-run for RMRS 2005.  We had about 8 or 9 Cruisers, one Mini, and One Mitsubishi Jeep (from Japan, very cool).  The condition were not ideal I was told, the ice was not hard enough and there was not enough of it so there was some carnage as a few truck fell through the thin ice (river was only a foot or so deep).  We did the river and some hills, and even one hill that I am told not many people go up.  I had a BJ74 with cable lockers so I was all over any hill I could find and did very nicely, especially since the suspension was stock and I only had 31" tires on it.  Very much the opposite of Peter's truck with 52" military tires on his 60 series - that truck is just sick ;)  This was an awesome opportunity for my and everyone that went on the run was really great, you guys & girls in Calgary are great people :) I really need to thank Wayne Smith who made this whole trip possible for me.  Wayne and his Wife Bernie are extremely gracious hosts.  Thanks Wayne and Bernie
